Job summary

Great Bear is seeking reliable MHE Operatives to join our busy ambient warehouse in Bolton. You will operate reach trucks and PPTs, support stock movement, and assist with loading and inbound activities while adhering to site procedures.

The role offers a 4 on 4 off night shift (07:00–19:00) with a pay rate of £14.45 per hour. A strong commitment to safety and teamwork is essential for success in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum forklift experience in a warehouse or distribution setting.
• Reach truck experience is advantageous.
• In-house licences from previous employers may be considered with relevant practical experience.
• Strong focus on safe working practices and attention to detail.
• Reliable, flexible and team-focused approach.
• Availability to work a 4 on 4 off night shift.

Responsibilities

• Operate MHE safely and efficiently, including reach trucks and PPT equipment where required.
• Support the movement, replenishment and put-away of stock within the warehouse.
• Assist with loading, unloading and inbound activity while following site procedures.
• Complete vehicle, equipment and safety checks in line with operational standards.
• Use scanners or warehouse systems accurately to help maintain stock integrity.
• Work closely with the wider warehouse team to keep the operation moving at pace.
