Job summary

Marie Curie seeks a dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our community-based overnight service in the highlands, Badenoch and Strathspey area. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to provide compassionate, patient-centered care in patients’ homes, ensuring comfort and continuity through the night.

The role is permanent, part-time (27 hours, 3 night shifts weekly, 10pm–7am), covering a 25-mile travel radius and based in the community.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months’ experience delivering care in health or social care.
• Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
• NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care, or willingness to work towards this qualification.

Responsibilities

• Provide overnight care in patients' homes, ensuring comfort, dignity and continuity of care.
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to support patients and families.
• Travel within a 25-mile radius across Badenoch and Strathspey.
