Job summary
Ford & Slater Spalding is hiring a Nightshift HGV Technician for our Spalding dealership. You will service and inspect trucks, diagnose faults, and carry out repairs in line with manufacturer procedures.
The role requires a Level 3 CV maintenance qualification and a full UK driving licence. We offer an excellent hourly rate (dependent on experience), premium overtime, in-house and manufacturer training, licence training after qualifying, and benefits including pension, life insurance, holiday
Qualifications
- Qualified to Level 3 (C&G, NVQ or equivalent) in Commercial Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
- Excellent technical knowledge ensuring maintenance and repairs follow procedures.
- Sound fault-diagnosis ability and accurate paperwork completion.
- Full UK driving licence and readiness for night shift.
Responsibilities
- Servicing and maintaining a wide variety of Trucks and Vehicles.
- Carry out safety inspections and prepare vehicles for MOTs.
- Fault diagnostics and repairs to manufacturer procedures.
- Road test vehicles when required, subject to licence restrictions.
