Ford & Slater, a major UK DAF Truck dealer group with 16 locations, is hiring an HGV Technician for night shift at the Stockton dealership. The role offers competitive rates, overtime, extensive training, and benefits including pension and life insurance.

Ideal candidates will have prior technician experience in HGV or related sectors, Level 3 CV maintenance qualifications, and a full UK driving licence. Training and development opportunities are provided in-house and by manufacturers.

Qualifikationen

• Experience as HGV/CV/LGV/PSV technician or related sector preferred.
• Apprenticeship or training programme is desirable.
• Qualified to Level 3 in CV maintenance and repair.

Aufgaben

• Service and maintain a wide range of trucks and vehicles.
• Carry out safety inspections and prepare vehicles for MOTs.
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs per manufacturer procedures.
• Road test vehicles where licensing allows and required.
