Job summary

Macklin Care Homes is seeking Nightshift Care Assistants at Ratheane Care Home in Coleraine. You will support nursing staff with social, emotional and physical resident needs, delivering person-centred care in line with standards.

Applicants should have dementia care experience and good English; a comprehensive induction, training and career development are offered in a friendly, values-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Able to communicate with the elderly.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Flexible to set hours and meet organisational needs.
• In good general medical health.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with daily living activities such as dressing, bathing, eating and mobility.
• Delivering excellent quality, person-centred care to all residents.
• Enriching the lives of residents through activities.
• Updating and maintaining accurate records in line with patient care.
• Supporting the nursing team with compliance policies and procedures.
• Fully flexible to support residents with one-to-one care when required.
