Job summary

ESP Care is seeking a Nightshift Support Worker in Merthyr Tydfil to assist residents with daily living activities and vital sign observations, while maintaining dignity and safety. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to ensure compassionate, person-centred care and complete accurate documentation.

The role requires UK care experience, DBS clearance, and the ability to follow site policies. Shifts are flexible and paid PAYE, with opportunities for skill development and career growth.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or relevant qualification.
• Minimum of 6 months UK care experience (within the last 3 years).
• Right to work in the UK (we are unable to offer sponsorship).
• Candidates will undergo DBS and reference checks.
• Ability to follow clear policies and procedures of each Home.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with daily living activities.
• Review and contribute to individual care plans.
• Report to senior healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care.
• Accurately document observations, updates and progress.
• Maintain safeguarding standards and dignity for residents.
