Job summary

National Car Parks Limited in London is hiring a Nightshift Car Park Attendant at the Whitechapel site. This full-time role (37.5 hours per week) covers Sunday to Thursday, 10pm–6am, including weekends, and focuses on delivering friendly customer service and safe car park operations.

You’ll engage with customers, manage entry/exit, patrol the site, and assist with light grounds maintenance and painting tasks.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; enthusiasm and a positive attitude are valued.
• Strong communication skills are beneficial.
• Basic computer skills are useful for operating our equipment.
• Full UK manual driving licence is essential for the role.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers and provide excellent service.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Nightshift Car Park Attendant at our Whitechapel site your role will be more than just managing parking spaces. You'll be a friendly face, ensuring an excellent customer experience while handling state-of-the-art car park equipment. Responsibilities include:

• Engaging with Customers: Providing top-notch customer service with a smile.
• Traffic Control Measures: Regulating vehicle entry and exit seamlessly.
• Regular Foot Patrols: Ensuring the safety and security of the car park.
• Grounds Maintenance: Keeping the surroundings clean and attractive with tasks like weeding, painting, and cleaning.
• Painting walls, stairwells, and bay lines (training is provided).
• Working outdoors, with a requirement to carry out basic landscaping jobs like weeding and hedge trimming (training is provided).

Requirements

No prior experience in customer service or security? No problem! We value enthusiasm and a positive attitude. However, the following skills will be beneficial:

• Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively.
• Basic Computer Skills: Tech-savvy enough to handle our equipment.
