Job summary

FirstGroup plc in Glasgow Caledonia Depot is seeking a qualified Automotive Electrician for nightshift. You will diagnose electrical faults, carry out repairs, replacements, testing and installations to keep vehicles running safely.

Applicants should have Level 3 NVQ/SVQ or City & Guilds in vehicle maintenance focusing on electrics, and a valid UK driving licence. Nights shift pattern with 8pm-6am, 4 nights per week, and a £2,000 joining bonus.

Qualifications

• NVQ/SVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds equivalent in vehicle maintenance & repair with focus on electrics.
• Experience on HGV/PSV is beneficial.
• Valid UK driving licence.
• Strong attention to detail and passion for mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose electrical faults, perform repairs and replace parts to keep vehicles safe.
• Carry out scheduled electrical testing, installations, inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Ensure all documentation meets regulations and health and safety standards.
