Job summary

Impact Recruitment Services is recruiting Warehouse Operatives for our client at Swan Valley, NN4 Northampton, on a long-term ongoing basis. The role involves unloading, picking and packing clothing, labeling, moving pallets and handling boxes up to 20kg, with full training provided.

You'll work nights 10pm–6am, Monday to Friday, starting 2 November with option to start on days/PM before night shift. Pay is £16.52 per hour up to 40 hours, with overtime at enhanced rate and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Warehouse experience is advantageous; full training provided.
• Ability to work alone or as part of a team with good attention to detail.
• Willingness to train on Days/PM before night shift commencing.

Responsibilities

• Unload boxes from the conveyor onto courier vehicles or pallets.
• Pick and pack clothing items for dispatch.
• Seal, label boxes and move pallets with a pump truck.
• Input load quantities and courier names onto a PC spreadsheet.
• Maintain high hygiene and housekeeping across shifts.

We are looking to recruit Warehouse Operatives for our prestigious client based in Swan Valley, NN4 Northampton on a long term, ongoing basis (Not just until Christmas). This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading, global clothing brand at their Northampton distribution centre.

PAY:

£16.52 per hour up to 40 hours (paid 30 Minute lunch) with overtime paid at an enhanced rate.

HOURS:

10pm - 6am / Monday - Friday

JOB DUTIES & PERSON SPEC:

• Previous experience working in a warehouse would be an advantage, but full training is provided.
• Unloading boxes on the conveyor onto courier vehichles or onto pallets.
• Picking and packing of clothing.
• Seal boxes and label them.
• Move pallets using Pump Truck.
• Manual Handling boxes up to 20kgs and labelling for despatch.
• Inputing load quantities and courier name onto spreadsheet on PC.
• Perform housekeeping duties to ensure high hygiene levels for all shifts.
• Good attention for detail and accuracy is required.
• Ability to work alone or as part of a team.
• Multi-skilled across goods in/out, dispatch, VAS returns and pick / pack departments.
• Please note this work opportunity does not start until the 2nd of November, however it may be possible to start on a day shift before the nightshift commences.
• Additional to this you must be able to be able to commit to training on Days/PM before starting your new role on nights.
