Impact Recruitment Services is hiring Warehouse Operatives for a major client at Swan Valley, NN4 Northampton. This long-term role offers night shifts (10pm-6am) with training prior to nights and opportunities to move to permanent employment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Unload boxes from conveyor onto courier vehicles or pallets.
• Pick and pack clothing items for dispatch.
• Seal boxes and label for despatch.
• Move pallets using pump truck.
• Input load quantities and courier name onto spreadsheet.
• Perform housekeeping to ensure high hygiene levels on all shifts.
• Work alone or as part of a team.
• Be multi-skilled across goods in/out, dispatch, VAS returns and pick/pack departments.

We are looking to recruit Warehouse Operatives for our prestigious client based in Swan Valley, NN4 Northampton on a long term, ongoing basis (Not just until Christmas). This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading, global clothing brand at their Northampton distribution centre.

PAY:

• £16.52 per hour up to 40 hours (paid 30 Minute lunch) with overtime paid at an enhanced rate.

HOURS:

• 10pm - 6am / Monday - Friday

JOB DUTIES & PERSON SPEC:

• Previous experience working in a warehouse would be an advantage, but full training is provided.
• Unloading boxes on the conveyor onto courier vehichles or onto pallets.
• Picking and packing of clothing.
• Seal boxes and label them.
• Move pallets using Pump Truck.
• Manual Handling boxes up to 20kgs and labelling for despatch.
• Inputing load quantities and courier name onto spreadsheet on PC.
• Perform housekeeping duties to ensure high hygiene levels for all shifts.
• Good attention for detail and accuracy is required.
• Ability to work alone or as part of a team.
• Multi-skilled across goods in/out, dispatch, VAS returns and pick / pack departments.
• Please note this work opportunity does not start until the 2nd of November, however it may be possible to start on a day shift before the nightshift commences.
• Additional to this you must be able to be able to commit to training on Days/PM before starting your new role on nights.
