Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR in Norwich is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join our nights team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will respond to breakdowns, perform planned and reactive maintenance, and support improvements across electrical and mechanical systems.

The role requires an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent and a recognised engineering apprenticeship, with strong maintenance experience and an ability to read drawings.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent engineering qualification.
• Recognised engineering apprenticeship.
• Strong electrical and mechanical maintenance experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience of fault finding and problem solving.
• Welding skills would be advantageous.
• PLC experience would be beneficial.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Responding quickly to equipment failures and minimising downtime.
• Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance.

What You'll Do:

Join a busy manufacturing environment where you'll play a key role in keeping production running efficiently. You'll respond to equipment breakdowns, carry out planned preventative maintenance, support continuous improvement projects and work across a wide range of electrical and mechanical systems.
