Job summary

Guild Care is seeking a Nights Care Assistant to support residents during the night at Caer Gwent, Worthing. You will help residents feel safe, comfortable and reassured while maintaining a calm environment.

No prior care experience is required as full training will be provided. The role involves 24 to 48 hours per week with flexible night shifts. UK right to work is required and sponsorship is not available.

Hours & Shifts

24 to 48 hours per week (flexible night shifts available)

Pay Rates

• £14.34 per hour (Sunday to Friday nights)

• £15.03 per hour (Saturday nights)

About the role

About the Role

As a Night Care Assistant, you'll be there to support residents during the quieter hours, helping them feel comfortable and reassured while maintaining a calm and welcoming environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting residents with personal care and wellbeing needs during the night

• Carrying out regular checks and responding when residents need assistance

• Helping residents settle and providing reassurance when needed

• Keeping the home clean, tidy, and comfortable

• Working closely with colleagues to ensure residents receive the best possible care

Some nights will be busy, others quieter, but every shift plays an important part in helping residents feel secure and supported.
