Job summary

Aberlour is seeking a Nightshift Young People’s Worker to join our Moray service. The role is permanent, working 33.25 hours per week on a 4 nights on / 4 nights off rota, with shifts from 10pm to 7:30am.

You will support children and young people with learning disabilities, bringing warmth and playfulness, while adhering to our values of respect and integrity. Training and supervision are provided to enhance practice.

Qualifications

• Must have a relevant professional qualification at SCQF level 7 or above or be willing to work towards this per SSSC registration.
• Ability to adapt practice to meet the varying needs of each young person.
• Comfortable in a culture of respect, integrity, innovation and constructive challenge.

Responsibilities

• Nightshift work 33.25 hours per week on a 4 nights on / 4 nights off rota (10pm–7:30am).
• Support children and young people with disabilities, delivering person-centred care.
• Attend dedicated training and supervision to develop practice and knowledge.
