Job summary

Countrystyle Recycling Limited is seeking a diligent Weighbridge Administrator to ensure the smooth operation of the weighbridge and to act as the primary contact for customers. You will record weights, verify loads, and ensure compliance with the site license and permitted waste types.

Processing delivery notes, handling paperwork, and communicating with customers by phone or email are key duties. A strong admin background and good MS Office skills are essential, with a focus on health, safety

Qualifications

• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong multitasking and attention to detail.
• Experience in a busy administrative role.
• GCSE A-C or equivalent education.

Responsibilities

• Direct traffic and operate weighbridge.
• Check incoming loads for site license and waste-type compliance.
• Record weights and waste type for each vehicle with documentation and signatures.
• Process delivery notes and tickets accurately and efficiently.
• Report contamination or non-conforming wastes to the Manager.
• Maintain relationships with customers and visitors, face-to-face and electronically.
• Ensure customers are aware of site rules and weighbridge paperwork is correct.
