Job summary

Culina is seeking a Warehouse Team Leader for its Minworth operation in Birmingham. This permanent night-shift role (6pm–6am, 4 on/4 off) offers £31,574.10 per year plus a £2,000 night shift allowance. Overtime is paid at 1.5x for hours beyond weekly contracted time.

You will lead a team of ~10, support the Shift Manager, drive productivity, uphold safety and service standards, and develop staff to maximise performance.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience in a fast-paced operation.
• Previous team leader or supervisory experience.
• Comfortable handling alcohol products in a Beer, Wines and Spirits operation.
• Strong communication skills to share information clearly.
• Able to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines in a busy operation.
• Proven ability to motivate teams and achieve targets and KPIs.
• Confident using IT systems and standard computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead, organise and support a team of around 10 warehouse colleagues.
• Drive shift performance to achieve productivity and KPI targets.
• Promote health, safety, hygiene and compliance to required standards.
• Carry out quality and compliance checks to meet customer and audit standards.
• Deliver team briefings and maintain clear communication on priorities.
• Support goods in and warehouse operations for efficient stock handling.
• Coach and develop team members to maximise performance.
• Support people processes including investigations and disciplinary matters.
