Job summary

Warehouse Stock Auditor (RAS-SCI) Thornbury Full Time Permanent Position - £25,447.5 per annum. Based at our customer’s distribution centre, you will perform daily physical stock checks to ensure pallets, cages and loads match paperwork before outbound dispatch.

You’ll be accurate, detail-oriented and reliable, with experience in a warehouse environment and basic calculation skills. Own transport is required; 37.5 hours/week, nights, with a chilled environment and potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse environment (stock control, checking, audit, picking, dispatch, or similar).
• Strong attention to detail and confidence with basic calculations.
• Ability to work to targets while maintaining high standards.
• Clear communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Must be aged 18+; own transport required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical audits of pallets, cages, and trailer loads.
• Check outbound loads against driver paperwork and delivery requests.
• Verifying the accuracy of inbound deliveries and reporting discrepancies.
• Recording audit outcomes clearly and accurately.
• Escalating stock errors or mismatches quickly and professionally.
• Working to daily targets and quality standards.
• Following site safety procedures and working efficiently in a mixed environment.
