Job summary

Farmfoods are recruiting Shift Managers for our brand new distribution centre in Daventry, Northamptonshire. You will lead warehouse operations, plan staffing to meet daily targets, and ensure a safe, tidy environment with high standards of hygiene and SOP compliance.

The role is 37.5 hours per week across five days (including weekends) with a salary of £38,000 per year. Benefits include 6 weeks holiday, 15% staff discount, pension, life assurance and full training.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership and team-building abilities.
• Strong communication with team, transport and customers.
• Able to adapt to varied shift patterns to meet demand.
• Experience with HR activities and health & safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Maximise efficiency to meet KPI targets and manage staffing in the warehouse.
• Plan, manage and adjust staffing levels to daily operational needs.
• Ensure safe working environment and SOP compliance.
• Conduct performance reviews and development planning; address issues.
• Monitor reports to maintain quality and performance and escalate issues.
• Induct new starters and ensure multi-skilling through training.
