Job summary

REM Associates Ltd is seeking a Night Operations Manager to run the night shift from 22:00 to 07:00, reporting to the General Manager. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years’ night warehouse experience, unionised environment exposure, and strong IT skills. You will manage a small night team, drive KPI delivery, and ensure safety and product integrity.

The role is 45 hours per week, Sunday–Thursday, with 33 days holidays and a basic salary up to £55k depending on experience.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years' experience working night shifts in a warehouse environment.
• Experience in a unionised environment.
• Strong planning, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent IT skills, especially Excel and Word.
• Experience with container handling and loading/unloading processes.
• Ability to drive KPIs and ensure safety and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 3 Night Shift Managers and oversee night operations.
• Manage budget and deliver KPI for delivery and service levels.
• Ensure site safety and product integrity across all chambers.
• Report to General Manager and operate 45 hours per week Sunday–Thursday.
• Monitor loading bays and backloading activities.

We are working closely with our client looking for an night Operations Manager, this is a confidential role running the night shift from 10-7 to report­ing to the General manager the ideal candidate will have at least 2 years experience of working night within a warehouse environment.

Budget control of 3 million.

You will manage a team of 3 Night shift managers.

Your experience will be :

• Worked in a Unionised Environment
• IT Skills – Excel/Word Etc
• Effective people management and Motivation.
• Decision Making and problem solving.
• Planning and Organising skills.
• Strong Self motivation.
• You will have Logistics and Warehouse experience – You might also have had container experience – you will be over seeing of products off and on to loading bays and back loading.

Drive and deliver contractually agreed and budgeted KPI on delivery and service levels.

Ensure the site remains safe and compliant throughout all chambers and ensure product integrity.

45 hour per week contract

33 days holidays

up to 55k Basic depending on experience

Sunday – Thursday
