Job summary

Prosperity Care & Wellbeing Ltd is seeking a female Waking Night Support Worker to care for a young woman in her early 20s with complex needs, including non-verbal communication, epilepsy and challenging behaviours. The role is 10pm–7am, 27 hours per week, in a Gloucestershire setting, with a PBS-guided, person-centered approach.

The successful candidate will provide calm, observant, 1:1 support, following care plans and ensuring the comfort and wellbeing of the client during night hours.

Qualifications

• We are seeking a female applicant due to exemption under the Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, Part 1.
• Candidate should be calm, observant and confident in managing complex behaviours.
• Ability to follow detailed care plans and PBS (Positive Behaviour Support) guidance.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 night-time support to a young woman with complex needs.
• Follow care plans and PBS guidance to manage triggers and ensure comfort.
• Observe and document any changes in condition or behaviour during night shifts.
• Support with routine college transport and night-time routines as required.
