Job summary

Acuity Care Group is seeking a compassionate Female Support Worker for a 30-hour wake night role in Kidderminster. You will provide 1:1 support to a young girl with epilepsy and behavioural needs, building trustful relationships and ensuring her wellbeing through night-time care.

The role requires patience, calm communication, and a commitment to safety and independent living skills. Training will be provided, including epilepsy management.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting individuals with epilepsy and complex care needs.
• Calm, patient and compassionate approach with ability to build trust.
• Ability to manage challenging behaviours using positive strategies.
• Strong observation and reporting to communicate changes.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 woke-night support to a young girl from 22:00 to 08:30.
• Monitor seizure activity and respond promptly to incidents.
• Support morning routines and help the girl feel settled for the day.
• Build a positive, trusting relationship with the family and care team.
• Promote independence, dignity, choice and person-centred care.
