Job summary

InPost Newstrade, Coventry, is seeking a Nights Transport Supervisor to oversee the night network, coordinating drivers and the transport team to ensure safe, on-time deliveries.

You will lead day-to-day operations, manage defects, ensure regulatory compliance and drive continuous improvement within a fast-paced UK hub. The role offers a competitive salary and opportunities for progression.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated success in leading and managing teams in a fast-paced transport environment.
• Knowledge of transport regulations and health & safety legislation.
• Ability to coordinate and optimise a transport network and driver performance.
• Must have the legal right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Ensure drivers promptly report and record vehicle defects to maintain safety and reliability.
• Monitor drivers’ hours compliance using Microlise and optimise scheduling and routing.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and productivity.
• Lead and support the transport team to achieve KPI targets.
• Provide 24-hour incident support during system or service disruptions.
• Oversee fleet maintenance and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
• Lead health and safety initiatives and promote a safe working environment.
• Stay informed on upcoming legislation and industry standards impacting transport.
