Job summary

Culina is seeking a Transport Operations Support for our Chilled & Fresh division in the UK. This role supports the Transport Department with administration, timesheets, POD management and ETAs, working 4 on 4 off nights (6pm–6am).

You will work closely with the Transport Shift Manager to ensure smooth, accurate deliveries and documentation. Key tasks include debriefing drivers, POD handling, and maintaining accurate records and spreadsheets to support daily operations.

Qualifications

• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Strong computer literacy, especially MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
• Team player and able to communicate at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Brief drivers after shifts and check timesheets.
• Ensure PODs are returned and filed correctly.
• Scan and store PODs using the document management system.
• Prepare drivers' wallets and issue delivery notes.
• Print despatch notes and restock despatch paper.
• Answer phone and handle inquiries.
• Communicate ETAs to Customer Services.
• Update spreadsheets for changes, runs, and trailer checks.
• Depart loads using Transport Management System.
• Ensure uplifts are dispatched in correct loads.
