Kinaxia Warrington is recruiting a Transport Operator (Nights) to join their site in Warrington. The role will execute collection and delivery schedules via efficient means, in line with business objectives, customer service levels and current legislative requirements.

You will ensure sufficient driver staffing, including agency staff, and authorise driver timesheets to keep operations on track. Using IT systems and vehicle allocation, you will track loads and communicate plans to customers and

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of highway codes and transport regulations.
• Experience using transport operation systems and load planning.
• Ability to coordinate driver hours and staffing levels.
• Understanding of health and safety in logistics operations.

Responsabilités

• Utilise IT systems and vehicles to allocate driver/loads/back loads and communicate plans.
• Ensure sufficient driver staffing levels, including agency staff.
• Manage driver hours by authorising timesheets weekly.
• Track status of drivers/vehicles to meet collections and deliveries.
• Deploy service recovery actions if a collection/delivery is at risk.
• Communicate with internal/external customers about delays and updates.
• Work in a team and participate in cross-training for cover.
• Identify and drive continuous improvements in the operation.
