• Requires Transport Manager CPC qualification.
• Experience in transport planning or logistics control.
• Strong people management and communication skills.
• Able to make confident decisions during night operations.
• Knowledge of UK transport legislation and driver hours.
• Comfortable working night shifts in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Allocate vehicles and drivers to routes while ensuring compliance.
• Monitor live transport activity and adjust plans to delays.
• Dispatch loads safely, accurately and on time.
• Maintain real-time driver communication and provide guidance.
• Use transport management systems to update statuses.
• Produce overnight reports for the day team.
• Check driver documents and vehicle defects.
• Liaise with maintenance providers and customers.
