Job summary

Village Hotels in Wales is seeking a Night Team Leader to act as the engine of the shift, managing the night audit, security checks, and guest services after dark. You will lead a small team, coordinate rotas, and ensure a smooth handover to the Day team at dawn.

This role focuses on maintaining high standards, training new starters, and delivering warm welcomes for late arrivals while supporting the Night Manager with operations and guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Taking ownership of the critical night time procedures. You will manage the night audit to reconcile the business of the day, conduct thorough security checks, ensure non-residents leave safely after events, and keep the building fully compliant.
• Acting as the ultimate all-rounder by delivering warm welcomes for late arrivals, efficiently checking out early departures, pouring drinks in the Pub, and preparing room service, ensuring high standards never drop just because it is dark outside.
• Keeping morale high when the team is tired. You will assist with rotas to manage wage costs, train new starters, run team briefings, and deliver a seamless handover to the early Duty Manager to set the day team up for success.
