Job summary

Scottish Borders Council seeks a Relief Night Support Worker at St Ronan's Residential Home in Innerleithen. This casual/relief role offers flexible hours with a salary aligned to the local Living Wage.

Qualifications

• PVG Adults required; SSSC registered (we will do PVG for you).
• Experience in providing person-centred care is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Providing person-centred practical and emotional support to empower service users as outlined in individual support plans.
• Promoting health and well-being and meeting service users' needs in an inclusive way.
• Supporting service users in personal care, eating, drinking and mobility as necessary.
• Be responsible for the safe administration of medication with relevant training.

SVQ2 or equivalent
