Job summary

The Salvation Army in Dundee is seeking an Assistant Support Worker - Nights to join our team. You will work 35 hours per week across a four-night-on/four-night-off pattern to support homeless clients with complex needs in a psychologically informed environment.

This role includes a 10% night works allowance; applicants must be registered to work in the UK and complete a PVG check, health assessment, and right to work verification. Interview date to be confirmed.

Qualifications

• Good customer services skills.
• Ability to prioritise their own workload.
• Proficiency in a range of IT packages including Microsoft.
• Knowledge of the main support needs which are commonly faced by homeless and vulnerable clients.

Responsibilities

• Assist with delivering a high-quality programme of support which promotes client choice and control.
• Prioritise own workload while delivering compassionate support.
• Demonstrate good customer service and IT proficiency.
