Job summary

Prime Life is recruiting Day Support Workers to join our friendly team in Shepshed, Leicestershire, caring for residents with learning and physical disabilities and mental health needs.

The role offers either full or part-time hours with a 3-day pattern and every other weekend, flexible shift coverage from 8pm to 8am. DBS is fully funded, and a comprehensive holiday pay scheme is provided. Refer-a-Friend bonuses may apply.

Qualifications

• Genuine caring nature with a desire to make a real difference for residents.
• Prior experience as a Support worker or Care Assistant is desirable but not essential as full training is provided.
• Ability to work with residents who have learning disabilities, physical disabilities and mental health needs.

Responsibilities

• Encouraging residents to achieve the highest possible quality of life.
• Providing companionship and emotional and practical support.
• Assisting residents in daily living decisions and personal care.
• Promoting independence in meal preparation and activities.
• Collaborating with professionals to develop individual care plans.
