Job summary

Shaw Healthcare is seeking a flexible and compassionate Support Worker for night shifts at Llwyn Teg Care Home in Llanfyllin. This 42-hour contract runs 19:30–07:30, offering an hourly rate of £13.67 and shift pattern to provide consistent care during the night.

You will deliver person-centred care, assist with personal hygiene, maintain records, promote dignity and inclusion, and work with a supportive team to create a safe, caring environment for residents with dementia and other needs.

Qualifications

• No formal qualifications required.
• Good values and behaviours matter.
• Full training provided on joining the home.

Responsibilities

• Providing person-centred care in line with an individual's care plan.
• Offering personal care, including bathing, dressing and hygiene.
• Maintaining accurate documentation of care delivered, including fluid/food intake, activities and incidents.
• Promoting dignity, choice and inclusion.
• Working collaboratively as part of a team and supporting colleagues in day-to-day duties.
• Maintaining a safe, happy, and caring environment.
