Shaw healthcare at Trenewydd Care Home in Brecon is seeking a Support Worker for nights to provide person-centred care and support residents in a warm, home-like environment. Training is provided, with full induction and ongoing development opportunities.

No prior experience required, just values like empathy, respect and a genuine wish to help others. The role offers a 25-hour contract with a night shift from 21:30 to 07:30 and a competitive hourly rate of £13.67.

Salary: £13.67 per hour

Hours: 25 hour contract

Trenewydd is a 35 bed care home designed to provide a safe and comfortable environment for its residents with features such as easily accessible gardens and shared spaces that are designed to be both stimulating and calming. Situated in the friendly residential suburb of Llanfaes, near Brecon and close to local amenities, the purpose-built home works hard to create a welcoming and homely atmosphere where residents can access any of the three lounges to share time with friends and family.

Job Responsibilities

As a Support Worker you will be responsible for promoting physical and emotional support to our lovely service users. The will include, but not limited to:

• Providing person-centred care in line with an individual’s care plan
