Job summary

Prosperity Care & Wellbeing is seeking an energetic and compassionate Support Worker to help a friendly man in his 20s who has a learning disability, autism, and sometimes challenging behaviours. The role is based in Gloucester, with a 10pm–7am shift and 36 hours per week, paid at £13.16 per hour.

You will provide reassurance, supervise safety at night, support healthy routines, encourage independence, and keep clear daily records.

Responsibilities

• Providing reassurance and emotional support.
• Promoting a calm and settled environment.
• Encouraging independence where appropriate.
• Ensuring safety and wellbeing throughout the night.
• Monitoring and recording any incidents or concerns.
• Completing accurate daily records and handovers.
• Providing 1:1 support tailored to individual needs.
