About The Manse:

Nestled in the friendly village of Freystrop on the outskirts of Haverfordwest in Pembrokeshire, The Manse is a spacious home for up to five adults aged 18 and over. This welcoming residence combines the tranquility of village life with convenient access to Pembrokeshire's largest market town, just two miles away, offering shops, cafes, and amenities. The home features a large back garden, perfect for relaxing or socialising, and becomes a delightful sun trap in the summer.

If you have a compassionate nature and thrive on empowering remarkable adults through nurturing, caring, motivating, and encouraging their decision-making, then this role is ideal for you.

A typical shift will include:
  • Providing high-quality bespoke care to the people we support, including keeping accurate records.
  • Ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met through a supportive and caring environment, making it feel like home.
  • Being a positive role model and promoting independence through activities.
  • General housekeeping duties, including meal preparation and personal care.
  • Having fun with the people we support!
What we're looking for:
  • A can-do attitude and resilient nature.
  • Compassion and empathy.
  • Good communication skills.
  • The ability to work flexibly and reliably as part of a team.
  • Previous care experience is preferred but not essential.
  • A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle are essential due to the rural location.

Please note: This role involves regulated activity with adults and requires an enhanced DBS with barred list check.

In return, we offer:
  • Clear career progression and valuable qualifications—97% of our managers progressed internally.
  • Health plan after probation.
  • 'Refer a friend' scheme—earn up to £1000 per successful referral.
  • Eligibility for a 'Blue Light Card' for discounts at retailers.
