About The Role

Night Support Worker – Ty Enfys – Treorchy

Hourly Rate: £12.60 to £12.80 per hour

Full Time: 40.25 hours per week (waking nights)

Brand New Home – Opening End of July 2025

Introducing Ty Enfys

Set in the heart of Treorchy, Ty Enfys is our brand-new residential home, opening July 2025, dedicated to supporting adults with autism. You’ll have the unique opportunity to help shape this new service, laying the foundations for a calm, safe, and supportive environment during the night. Whether you're an experienced support worker or new to care, we welcome applications from both internal colleagues and new local applicants.

The Role

As a Night Support Worker, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the wellbeing, safety, and comfort of our residents overnight. You’ll provide reassurance, support with nighttime routines, and respond calmly to any needs that arise during the night. Your presence will help maintain a peaceful atmosphere and ensure a smooth handover to the day team.

What a Night Looks Like At Ty Enfys
  • Supporting individuals with autism during the night, ensuring a safe and restful environment
  • Providing assistance with personal care and bedtime routines
  • Monitoring residents and responding to any support needs throughout the night
  • Completing domestic tasks such as light cleaning and laundry
  • Accurately recording care notes and observations
  • Ensuring a smooth transition between night and day shifts through clear handovers
  • Promoting dignity, comfort, and respect in every interaction
We’re Looking For People Who Are
  • Compassionate, calm, and attentive to detail
  • Resilient and able to work independently through the night
  • Responsible, reliable, and able to remain alert throughout the shift
  • Good communicators, both verbal and written
  • Experienced in or open to working waking night shifts
  • Confident using basic IT systems
  • A driving licence is a bonus, but not essential
