Support Worker - Llanelli - Full Time

Location: Blaen-Y-Waun, 39 hours a week, plus sleep ins. Hourly Rate from £12.60 to £12.80 (Plus £55 per sleep in), dependent on qualifications and experience. Driver essential.

We are a leading organization dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to young people who have experienced childhood trauma, struggle with mental health, or both. Our goal is to make a positive impact on their lives, fostering growth and enhancing overall well-being. We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our team and make a difference in the lives of these children.

About the role

Join our welcoming home in Blaen Y Waun, where you will support children with a nurturing spirit and patience. Your compassionate nature will empower these children as they navigate challenging circumstances. Responsibilities include guiding them on their educational journey, accompanying them to school, and providing support in everyday activities. Exciting outings are also part of the role!

  • Valid driver’s license is required due to the remote location and limited public transport; driving on narrow country lanes is necessary.

Note: This role involves regulated activity with children and requires an enhanced DBS with barred list check.
