What you’ll be doing:

In this role, you’ll support individuals in making their own choices — whether it’s everyday decisions like what to wear, eat, or do, or bigger decisions such as where to live, how to manage finances, or where to go on holiday.

As a trusted Support Worker, you'll empower people to follow through on these choices, including participating in structured activities that build confidence and develop new skills. You’ll also offer practical support to help them meet responsibilities like paying bills, maintaining their homes, being good neighbours, and staying connected with friends and family.

Your goal is to make everyday remarkable by enhancing well-being and focusing on small, meaningful moments that bring joy and purpose. This person-centred support makes for a fun and rewarding role for the right person.

Who we are looking for:

No experience is required as full training is provided. We’d love to hear from you if you:

  • have patience and empathy
  • can support a person with respect and dignity
  • have strong communication and teamwork skills
  • are able to speak on behalf of others and communicate with professional people
  • have good written skills and can record events with empathy and meaning

It’s not just what you do, but how you do it — we’re looking for someone who can demonstrate our values every day.

Our Rewards:

  • Excellent training and development opportunities to achieve qualifications
  • 25 days annual leave, rising to 30 days after 5 years’ service, with options to buy and sell leave
  • Benevolent Fund, a confidential financial wellbeing resource
  • Long-term service awards
  • Access to online shopping discounts and benefits platform
  • 24-hour access to our Employee Assistance Programme
  • Eligibility for Blue Light discount card
  • And much more…

Our Mission: To build a better future by focusing on people with learning disabilities and their families. We aim to be a great support provider for individuals, families, employees, partners, funders, and communities.
