Job summary

Praxis Care is seeking a Night Support Worker for Maine Valley in Ballymena. The role focuses on empowering individuals to develop independence within person-centred plans and upholding the dignity and respect of every service user.

You will work as part of a dedicated team, ensuring safety, adherence to medication policy, and compliance with service procedures while supporting residents through flexible patterns including sleep-ins.

Qualifications

• Essential numeracy and literacy skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Desirable: experience in health and social care.
• Right to Work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Support and empower individuals to develop independent living skills per person-centred plans.
• Collaborate with Team Leaders to implement individual/group support programmes.
• Promote a safe working/living environment and manage conflict using appropriate techniques.
• Ensure medication storage and administration per policy.
• Complete administrative requirements and logging per guidelines.
• Be aware of all service policies including Health & Safety and attend related training.
