Job summary

Glassmoon Services in Newton Abbot is recruiting Support Workers to assist individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs. You will support participation in activities, promote independence, and deliver personalised care within our person-led model.

Role includes 12-hour shifts, every-other-weekend work, and a focus on wellbeing, safeguarding, and community integration. Driver’s license is advantageous; right to work in the UK is required.

Qualifications

• Driver’s license preferred.
• Right to Work in the UK required.
• Satisfactory Criminal Records Checks required.
• References available on request.
• ID & address verification needed.

Responsibilities

• Support people with learning disabilities and complex needs to participate in activities and maintain independence.
• Deliver person-centred care and support plans in line with policies and procedures.
• Engage with the local community to promote wellbeing and social connections.
