Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Nights Shift Stock Control Administrator for our warehouse in Northampton. You will maintain stock integrity across thousands of locations and faces, coordinate re-slotting, and manage damaged stock while supporting cross-functional teams.

The role requires night shifts (4 days on, 4 days off, 18:00–06:00) and a valid MHE license or willingness to train. On-site parking and canteen are provided.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in stock control or inventory management, preferably within a warehouse environment.
• Proficient in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and other departments.
• Valid MHE license for operating reach trucks and LLOP is preferred; in-house training is available.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the integrity of stock across 15,000 bulk reserve locations and 2,000 pick faces through accurate perpetual counting.
• Lead the re-slotting of products to accommodate volume changes, promotions, and seasonality across 2,500 SKU lines.
• Manage damaged stock by identifying, reporting, and disposing, and communicate with relevant teams about damages and returns.
• Maintain high standards of stock control and address non-conformities promptly.
• Collaborate with inbound and outbound teams to resolve stock-related issues efficiently.
• Conduct regular audits of stock levels, discrepancies, and policy compliance.
• Monitor Best Before Dates (BBD) and shelf life to ensure quality and minimize waste.
• Assist in developing and implementing stock control processes and systems.
• Operate MHE including reach trucks and LLOP, with in-house training if needed.
