Job description

Hours: 24

Salary: £12.30 per hour

Overview of the role

Whether you are new to social care or have previous experience, we welcome your application. We will provide training and mentorship to help you become a skilled professional. All in-house training is free, and we will support your career development from day one.

Key duties

  • Providing personal care, including bathing, toileting, dressing, and assistance with feeding
  • Administering medication
  • Supporting residents in daily activities, hobbies, or outings
  • Following care plans in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Building honest and considerate relationships with residents
  • Maintaining accurate daily records
  • Attending and completing training as required

Personal attributes

Patience, reliability, flexibility, teamwork, and good communication skills are essential qualities for a successful Night Social Care Worker.

Where will you work?

Wey View, located in Addlestone, Surrey, is a recently refurbished home supporting up to ten individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and complex emotional needs. It features 24-hour staffing, a dedicated Positive Behaviour Support Team, and tailored activity programs to promote independence and confidence. The home also provides transport for local outings and activities.
