Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services in Daventry is seeking a Site Protection Security Officer (Nights) to provide professional security across Marks & Spencer Distribution Centres. You will work 4 on 4 off, 19:00–07:00, ensuring safety, asset protection and high service standards.

The role requires a valid front-line SIA licence and a full UK driving licence with access to a reliable vehicle; be adaptable, reliable, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid front-line SIA Licence.
• Must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a reliable vehicle.
• Literate and numerate with good IT skills.
• Professional appearance and high personal standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead, maintain and provide professional security cover across multiple Marks & Spencer Distribution Centres in Daventry.
• Monitor access control systems, CCTV and vehicle movements in line with site procedures.
• Conduct regular internal and external patrols to ensure site safety and security.
• Respond promptly to incidents, alarms and emergencies following site protocols.
• Support the prevention and investigation of theft, stock loss and unauthorised access.
• Be accountable for performance of the site.
