Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is hiring a Site Protection Security Officer (Nights) for Marks & Spencer Distribution Centres in Daventry. You will provide professional security cover, monitor CCTV and access control, and respond to incidents while delivering high service standards across sites.

The role requires a valid SIA licence, a UK driving licence, and the ability to work nights and weekends on a 4 on/4 off rota. Comprehensive training and Mitie benefits are offered.

Responsibilities

• Lead security cover across Marks & Spencer Distribution Centres in Daventry.
• Deliver outstanding customer service.
• Maintain professional standards of appearance and incident reporting.
• Monitor access control systems, CCTV, and vehicle movements.
• Conduct regular patrols for site safety and security.
• Support theft prevention and stock loss investigations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and emergencies per site protocols.
• Engage and communicate with the team and management as required.
• Be accountable for site performance and workload.
• Undertake additional duties as needed and work short-notice assignments.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and security policies.
