Job summary

Walfinch West Suffolk is hiring a Community Support Worker for night shifts to provide domiciliary care across the Hadleigh division. The role is open to female applicants only due to Genuine Occupational Requirement under the Equality Act 2010.

Responsibilities include assisting with personal care, medication management, and mobility, offering companionship, and feeding back client needs to the Hadleigh-based care team.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care is a plus, or willingness to work toward it.
• Excellent communication and compassionate approach.
• Ability to travel between client homes; valid UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care, medication management, and mobility support.
• Provide emotional support and companionship during transition periods.
• Assess evolving client needs and feedback vital information to the care management team.
• Travel between client homes in Hadleigh, Diss, Stowmarket and surrounding villages
