Job summary

Walfinch Suffolk Coastal is seeking Community Support Workers to deliver high-quality domiciliary care across the Saxmundham Division. You will assist with personal care, medications and mobility, while offering emotional support and companionship to clients during transitions.

Travel between client homes in Saxmundham and surrounding villages will be required, with a focus on compassionate, community-minded care. A female-only role is stipulated by the Equality Act exemption.

Qualifications

• Domiciliary care experience is highly desirable.
• NVQ Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care is a plus, or willingness to work toward it.
• A valid UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle are essential due to travel.
• Excellent communication, adaptability and the ability to stay calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care, medication management and mobility support.
