Job summary

Walfinch West Suffolk is hiring Community Support Workers to provide high-quality domiciliary care to our client in Newton Green. He lives with his wife who is his main carer when our staff are not present. Assisting with personal care, medication management, peg feeding and moving and handling using a Sara steady.

This position is open to female applicants only. Job Share considered. Previous experience in domiciliary care or a fast-paced healthcare setting is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, adaptability and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
• NVQ Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care is a plus, or willingness to work toward it.
• A valid UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle are essential due to travel.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care, medication management and peg feeding.
• Move and handle clients safely using provided equipment.
• Travel to client homes as required and maintain a compassionate approach.
