Job summary

GXO Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Team Leader for the Samlesbury site (BAE Systems) in the UK. You will lead a shift-based team, coordinating activities to meet targets while driving continuous improvement and a strong safety culture.

The role is full-time and permanent, with a Sunday to Thursday night shift from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am. The salary is up to £32,681.44 per year, and the benefits package includes a company pension, health services, and various employee discounts.

Qualifications

Knowledge of end-to-end warehouse processes and health and safety.
Experience in a complex, fast-moving logistics/warehouse environment.
Ability to work on your own initiative while effectively leading a team.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

Operate as a working team member and conduct tasks in all areas of the warehouse.
Ensure you and team members comply with working practices delivering a clean and safe workplace.
Provide focus on health & safety, productivity, accuracy and quality by leading the operational shift team.
Monitor progress and performance against KPIs and costs against budget.
