Job summary

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee a busy night shift in the Plymouth area. The role will involve leading a warehouse team, driving performance and ensuring safe, efficient operation on nights.

You will supervise, coach and develop colleagues, allocate workloads, monitor KPIs and support recruitment and development initiatives, while maintaining strict safety standards and compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Warehouse Supervisor/Team Leader role.
• Experience in a warehouse, distribution, logistics or supply chain environment.
• Proven ability to motivate, engage and develop teams.
• Experience managing performance against KPIs and targets.
• Strong health & safety knowledge and compliance awareness.

Responsibilities

• Supervise night shift warehouse activities to meet targets and service levels.
• Lead, coach and develop colleagues to maximise performance.
• Allocate workloads based on priorities and resources.
• Monitor productivity, accuracy and efficiency; identify improvements.
• Support recruitment, attendance management and performance reviews.
• Ensure stock handling, storage and processing safety and accuracy.
• Oversee safe use and maintenance of warehouse equipment.
• Promote safety and compliance culture throughout the operation.
