Job summary

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting a Warehouse Team Supervisor to lead a busy distribution operation in the Plymouth area. You will supervise a warehouse team, allocate resources, and drive productivity while upholding safety and quality standards.

In this role you will monitor KPIs, support recruitment and onboarding, and work closely with transport and operations teams to maintain excellent service levels. The position is full-time and permanent, with typical early shifts.

Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Team Supervisor to join a successful distribution operation in the Plymouth area.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Warehouse Supervisor, Warehouse Team Leader or experienced warehouse professional looking to take the next step into a leadership role. You will support the day-to-day warehouse operation, helping to ensure high standards of productivity, safety, service and team performance.

Key Duties

• Supervise and support a warehouse team to achieve daily operational targets.
• Allocate resources and workloads to maximise productivity and service levels.
• Monitor warehouse performance, KPIs and operational targets.

• Support recruitment, onboarding, training and ongoing colleague development.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Warehouse Supervisor, Warehouse Team Leader or similar role within a warehouse, logistics, manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop teams.
• Experience working with operational targets, KPIs and performance measures.
• Good understanding of warehouse operations and health and safety requirements.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships.
• Well organised with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage competing demands.
• Positive and proactive approach to problem solving.
• Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced warehouse or distribution environment.

Desirable

• Experience using warehouse management systems and operational reporting tools.
• Knowledge of warehouse audits, compliance procedures and continuous improvement processes.
• Experience supporting recruitment, training and performance management activities.
• Understanding of distribution, logistics or supply chain operations.

Working Hours

• 06:00-15:30.
• Weekends on a rota.
