Job summary

Alliance Automotive Logistics operates a National Distribution Centre in Rotherham seeking a Warehouse Operative to receive, store and dispatch goods with a focus on accuracy and safety.

This fast-paced role requires lifting up to 20 kg, standing and walking for extended periods, and operating pallet trucks or forklifts (training provided). Opportunities for progression and a supportive team environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or distribution experience is preferred but not essential.
• Able to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 20 kg.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexible to work evenings, nights and weekends if required.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload and check incoming goods for quality and quantity.
• Pick, pack and prepare orders for dispatch.
• Operate pallet trucks and forklifts safely (training provided).
• Maintain accurate stock records and regular cycle counts.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and compliant warehouse environment.
• Assist with loading/unloading deliveries and support team targets.
• Report discrepancies or safety issues to management.
