Job summary

Ocado Logistics is seeking a Night Shift Warehouse Operative to load totes, sort goods and feed robotics-enabled processes for order fulfilment. No prior experience is required; just bring a positive attitude and be over 18.

You'll work 18:00–06:00 for four days, in temperatures as low as -25°C, with enhanced night pay, a freezer premium, and a strong progression path within the Ocado team.

Roles Available:

• Night's Despatch - 18:00 - 06:00 (4 Days)
• Night's Pick - 18:00 - 06:00 (4 Days)
• Nights Inbound - 18:00 - 06:00 (4 Days)
• Nights Freezer - 18:00 - 06:00 (4 Days)

You'll be loading individual totes into frames, which are then loaded into our delivery vans for our customers. You'll also be required to sort and organise totes coming back to the site. This is a physical role, and you will need to be able to lift heavy totes into the frames ... no need for a gym membership!

You'll be picking and packing customer orders into shopping totes. This process requires you to handle goods with care, but you will have support from our robots.

You'll be receiving goods from suppliers and putting these into totes so that our robots and pickers can do their jobs.

You'll be picking and packing frozen items for customer orders into totes within a very large freezer! Full gear is provided, as you will be working in temperatures up to -25°C. If you like the cold, this is the job for you!

What do you get in return?

• Basic rate: £12.93 per hour
• Night shift premium (between the hours of midnight and 6 am) - plus £2.94 per hour
• Freezer Premium - £1.10 per hour
• Overtime paid at basic x 1.25
