Job summary

Bidfood UK is seeking a Warehouse Operative for night shifts at our distribution centre in Slough. You’ll pick customer orders using voice technology, load vehicles and keep the warehouse running smoothly overnight.

The role covers ambient, chilled and frozen areas; we value reliability, teamwork and safety. Night work offers a flexible pattern and good benefits as part of a committed team.

Qualifications

• Experience with voice picking is beneficial but not essential.
• Warehouse or multi-temperature experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Picking customer orders accurately using voice technology headsets.
• Loading vehicles ready for delivery.
• Organising and storing products safely and correctly.
• Using warehouse equipment safely, with full training provided.
• Moving stock using pump trucks, power pallet trucks and forklifts.
• Supporting colleagues to keep the warehouse running efficiently overnight.
• Helping ensure drivers leave on schedule with complete and accurate orders.
